I pre-ordered this game one month before it came out and I'm glad I did instead of waiting in line.

This game is awesome and provides countless hours of fun. The newest feature this year is 'playmaker' control in which you can change the direction of which way your running back will run, change the route of a receiver before the play, or even during the play, you can tell your receiver to come back, go left, go long, etc! I absolutely love this new feature.

Franchise mode is fun as always. It's about the same as last year but this year you can control where your team is located and build your own stadium! You can also control ticket prices, food prices, merchandise, parking, advertising and a lot more.

Everything else in the game is about the same, but slightly improved from last year. All in all, this is a great game and any NFL fan should consider picking this game up.

Also, on another note, I was able to play NFL ESPN Football, and gameplay wise, I can say Madden 2004 wins. In the presentation department, ESPN Football wins, but not by a long shot. Overall, Madden 2004 is your best bet.
